Soul's Portfolio

Howdy, I'm Soul, a digital artist based in Puerto Rico, specializing in character art and detailed animal illustrations. Ever since I picked up a pencil for the first time, I've been teaching myself how to draw the things I love most, whether it's an obscure character that barely has any fanart or my favorite species at the moment. Art has been a way for me to express myself in the most genuine way I possibly could without any fear of judgement, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.

Just a fun way to depict myself without actually doing it 100% accurately. The reason why I chose rats as the species to represent myself is because I love going to malls and I thought it would be cute if I was a literal mall rat.

Character Designs

A character line up featuring my robot OCs, Vinyl, Rocket and R.J, drawn in a style simulating toon shaded 3D models, with color schemes next to each and a background with a 90’s vibe. Vinyl is a humanoid robot with long flowing brown hair, a silver visor
Seymour, formerly known as Guillaume, one of my orca OCs. He is an 18-year-old male, so he is bulky with large pectoral flippers, tall dorsal fin and curled flukes, though still not fully developed. He has rounded diamond shaped eye patches and a bright sa
Pearl and Tyke, two of my alien OCs. They are luguins, a small cat-like type of aliens that have the body type of a penguin, large heads with big almond shaped eyes, and soft but durable marshmallow-like skin. Both of them are wearing black suits that cove

Character Paintings

Vinyl’s first time underwater. They love watching the moon jellyfish.
A digital painting of Pearl, one of my alien OCs, in the style of a cryptid sighting, with a dark grassy environment lit by a flashlight and a greenish hue to the whole piece. Though Pearl is a bipedal cat-like alien with the body proportions of a penguin,
Seymour the killer whale and his pseudorca friends, Koharu and Keto enjoying the bubble maker in their enclosure.
A digital painting of SpongeBob dancing, made in a similar style to the show.
A digital painting of an East Asian finless porpoise in murky green waters.
A painting of A72 “Bend”, a female northern resident killer whale who gets her name from an indentation at the leading edge of her dorsal fin. The piece was made to resemble screenshots from the Rubbing Beach orca live cams.
